The International Society of Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurses (ISPN) will hold its eighth annual conference on April 5–8, 2006, at the Marriott City Center in Denver, Colorado. The theme of this special event will be “The Science of Creative Practice.”
The program will include a variety of sessions encompassing all areas of psychiatric–mental health practice. There will be special emphases on psychopharmacology, evidence-based practice, and high-risk populations and a presentation of innovative approaches to care.
The ISPN is pleased to announce that Josepha Campinha-Bacote, PhD, APRN, BC, CNS, CTN, FAAN, will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Campinha-Bacote, a highly sought-after speaker, is the president of Transcultural C.A.R.E. Associates.
